Fall Roundnet: Player Info

A message from your Roundnet League Director:

Hello my Fall League Crew,

I am super excited for this season's Squad league set up. This will be the first time I attempt to run a squad style league so please be patient with any hiccups that might come up. I always welcome any feedback that you are willing to provide throughout the season.

We have four of Edmonton's top players who will be the captains of the four squads. I did my best to divide the squads as equally as possible based on RPR, gender, teammate requests, and experience. The squad captain will set their lineup each week from 1-6. Then for that week there will be a rotation of games where same ranked players will play against one another. Each individual game won will count as a point for the squad.

Example:
Round 1: Team A 1&5 vs Team B 1&5
Round 2: Team A 1&2 vs Team C 1&2
Round 3: Team A 1&3 vs Team D 1&3
Round 4: Team A 1&4 vs Team B 1 &4
Round 5: Team A 1&6 vs Team C 1& 6

Each evening you will play with everyone in your squad against people from the other 3 squads. This is to ensure you are not playing solely against the same individual matched up with you each night. With the possibility of moving up and down the ranks each with the match ups should switch up regularly. Throughout the first 6 weeks you will play each matchup twice. The final two weeks will be playoffs, first night of playoffs Squad ranked 1st vs 4th and 2nd vs 3rd. Winners move to the finals and non winners will play for third on the final night. During the playoffs you will play with all members of your squad trying to earn the most points in the evening.

We will be using the Spikeball app to RSVP for each evening event. Please be sure to indicate that you will be in attendance a minimum of 2 days prior to each league night. I have a list of people available to sub some evenings. The sooner you can let me know that you will not be able to attend the easier it is for me to find a sub.
