EUPA will be running U14 and U19 in-house leagues this summer, and we need Community Coaches—lots of them! These leagues cannot operate without your support.
When do the leagues run?
The EUPA U14 and U19 leagues will take place on Tuesday nights at Kaskitayo Fields from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
What is the league format?
The league will follow this structure:
Depending on registration numbers, games will be played 4v4 or 5v5 with modified fields.
What are the prerequisites to becoming an EUPA Community Coach?
Aside from a police security check (which EUPA will reimburse), all we require is your enthusiasm for the sport! Coaches will follow the same template for the warm-up and drill portions of the session. The weekly plan will be sent to Community Coaches a week in advance by the league coordinator, who will also be on-site to provide assistance. Coaches will be assigned to a team and will help ensure that games are spirited, fun, and run smoothly. Coaches are encouraged to offer coaching at whatever level they feel comfortable with.
Additionally, Community Coaches will receive honorariums for their time!
How many Community Coaches do we need?
EUPA plans to have 4 teams in both the U14 and U19 leagues, for a total of 8 teams. Therefore, we’re aiming to have at least 8 Community Coaches.
This sounds great! How do I sign up?
